Nervous Tension ~ A Healer’s Recipe

Use this recipe for tense nerves.  This is a strong blend of herbs but not too strong that it can’t be taken during daytime.  This recipe contains herbs classified as nervines.  They are healing to the nerves and induce relaxation.  This recipe is also ideal for times of suffering from colds or flu.  Not only are they good for balancing the nerves and calming, St. Johns Wort and Lemon Balm are good for viral infections helping to overcome these infections.

Drink a cup of this tea before going to bed each night to calm nerves,
relieve depression, overcome an ill or to help you fall asleep more easily.

1 oz. St. John’s Wort
1 oz. Lemon Balm Leaves
1 oz. Passion Flower

To Brew:

  1. Combine 1 teaspoon of the herb mixture per cup of boiling water.
  2. Steep for 10 min., strain
  3. Add honey / lemon to taste if desired.
